home away from home.
My current project home away from home focuses on highlighting a feeling that you’re familiar with but can’t quite place, a sense of nostalgia and sentimentality for places and for people you’ve never met. When I amble around the streets of my home there are certain moments that strike me, a moment where my eyes tell me yes before my consciousness has fully understood. These moments are what I focus on as these are the moments that make me feel… home. And it is through this feeling that I wish to share my home with you, so that you too can feel home, so that you too can feel nostalgic and sentimental, so that your eyes too can say yes before your own consciousness has understood.
This is my home, and your home away from home.
